Defeating the Socialist Coalition and Restoring Our Constitutional Republic

Kevin Groenhagen, a small-business owner in Lawrence, Kansas, grew up 15 miles upstream from Ronald Reagan's hometown of Dixon, Illinois. After graduating from high school, he served as an intelligence analyst with the United States Marine Corps from 1982 to 1986. He later earned degrees in International Relations and Southeast Asian Studies from Northern Illinois University, and attended graduate school at the University of the Philippines' Asian Center.

A member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Kevin is a proud fifth great-grandson of U.S. Rep. Matthew Lyon, the first American imprisoned (unjustifiably) under the Sedition Act of 1798, and a sixth great-grandson of Thomas Chittenden, the first governor of Vermont. He laments the fact that these patriotic Vermonters have been replaced by the likes of Bernie Sanders and Howard Dean.
